About the Role
The Accounts Payable Assistant will work at Doncaster racecourse, collaborating with the finance team to perform accounting and clerical tasks related to accounts payable. This includes receiving, processing, and verifying invoices, tracking purchase orders, and processing payment requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Track and record purchase orders and payment requests
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions
Requirements
- 1-2 years' experience in a similar role, with a working knowledge of accounts payable
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience with ERP systems (Exchequer) is an advantage
