About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated GP to join our team in Gateshead, providing high-quality primary care services to the local population. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to deliver a wide range of primary care presenting health care needs.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of a dynamic workforce, working flexibly to meet the needs of patients. You will be required to work at various locations throughout Gateshead, both in and out of hours, and undertake a variety of assessments, including telephone advice, home visits, and centre visits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality primary care services to patients in Gateshead
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to achieve team goals
  • Be flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of patients
  • Undertake a range of assessments, including telephone advice, home visits, and centre visits
Requirements
  • Registered with the GMC
  • Registered on the English medical performers list
  • Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate)
  • MRCGP
  • General practice (Vocational Training Scheme) trained
  • Satisfactory record of continuous professional development
  • Resuscitation & Life Saving Training
  • Child Protection Training Levels 1 - 3
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Current CPR certificate
