About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oncology Staff Nurse to join our team at the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre (BHOC). As a key member of our senior nursing team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of care that we pride ourselves on.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a clinical expert providing specialist knowledge and advice to nurses and junior medical staff.
  • Work towards safe and timely discharge plans and identify barriers to discharge.
  • Support the nursing team and act as a positive role model, promoting best clinical and professional practice.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills, facilitating orientation and training programmes.
  • Participate in systematic monitoring of performance and evaluation of nursing practice.
