About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Executive to lead the Chartered Banker Institute through a period of transformation and growth. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering commercial programs and services, and will be able to leverage the Institute's charitable and Chartered status to ensure its continued relevance to the current and future careers of a global, multi-disciplinary banking sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to drive the Institute's growth and development
  • Lead the development of commercial programs and services that meet the needs of the Institute's members and stakeholders
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior banking leaders and international organisations
  • Advocate for professional standards in banking and foster credibility and trust with members, Fellows, industry leaders, and global partners
  • Curate impactful curricula for the Institute's members and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role in the banking sector
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience managing budgets of £5-10 million
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Passion for learning and professional development
  • Interest in technological advancement and innovation
