We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Specialist to join our team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients in critical condition, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the delivery of outstanding patient care.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in critical care, with a strong focus on patient-centered care and a commitment to excellence. We offer a competitive salary, ranging from £43,000 to £68,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- To deliver high-quality critical care services to patients, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- To participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to critical care, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- To contribute to the education and training of junior staff members, providing guidance and mentorship to support their professional development.
- To engage in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A recognized qualification in nursing or a related field (e.g., AHP/ODP).
- Extensive experience in critical care, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
