About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and skilled individual to assist in the efficient production of goods within a busy factory environment.

The ideal candidate will be able to operate sewing machinery and equipment, assemble products or components according to specifications, and monitor the production process to ensure high standards of quality and safety are maintained.

  • Main Duties:
  • Operate sewing machinery and equipment as required for the production process.
  • Assemble products or components according to specifications and work instructions.
  • Monitor the production process and report any issues or defects to the supervisor.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Be willing to learn and be trained within factory departments.
  • Work as part of a team and on an individual basis to obtain daily/weekly targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Prioritise work to meet production needs.
  • Liaise with the team leader to address specific quality or production problems.
  • Ensure departmental machinery and equipment is in good working order and report any issues to the Team Leader and/or Supervisor.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience using a sewing machine (advantageous).
  • Dexterity.
