Job Requirements
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teacher to join our team at Opogo. As a SEND Specialist Teacher, you will be responsible for supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development in a mixed SLD KS4 class with 4 teaching assistants. Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet students' individual needs.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to track student progress.
  • Regularly assess and evaluate student performance, adjusting instructional methods as necessary.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and other support staff to achieve shared goals.
  • Maintain open communication channels with parents and caregivers, keeping them informed about student progress and successes.
  • Liaise with external agencies to access additional resources and support for students.

Competitive Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £38,000 - £58,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive working environment.
