Job Summary

The Aurora Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front of House Tutor to join our team at Foxes Academy. As a Front of House Tutor, you will play a critical role in delivering vocational training that supports business needs and develops the highest professional standards within Front of House.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging, and individualized sessions that challenge and stretch every student, ensuring they are motivated and engaged throughout.
  • Plan and prepare robust assessments, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting, and maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to analyze student performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to address underachievement and capitalize on overachievement.
  • Provide professional, timely, and effective feedback to students, with clear next steps for improvement, and maintain effective record-keeping.
  • Lead and direct Learning Support Practitioners within sessions, ensuring their contributions and evaluations are valued and utilized.
  • Contribute to the review and development of courses, schemes of work, quality assurance processes, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Level 4 Diploma in Education or equivalent.
  • Experience in vocational training, with a strong understanding of quality assurance in an education or training setting.
  • Ability to work within a Front of House role, with knowledge of assessing skills and knowledge using RARPA.
  • Confidence in leading students and Learning Support Practitioners within vocational training.
  • Hospitality qualification is desirable.
