We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Little Discoveries, Yeovil.

Job Description

This Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in providing high-quality childcare provision. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned activities under the direct guidance of the Nursery Manager/Deputy manager and team. This may include activities such as cooking, group time, stories, play-acting, singing, etc., to stimulate children's language and promote their development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cooking and preparing meals for the children.
  • Planning and delivering activities that meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Contributing to the Safeguarding and Welfare of the children.
Requirements

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisation skills, who is able to work effectively as part of a team. You will also need to be non-judgmental, patient, and creative in your approach to childcare.

What We Offer

We are offering a competitive salary of £18,500 - £21,000 per annum, plus comprehensive training and support to help you achieve your full potential in this role.
