Support Worker for Complex Needs Pupils

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at a school in the North West, catering to pupils with Complex Needs.

About the Role: As a Support Worker, you will work across EYFS, through to Key Stage 5, providing vital support and care to students with diverse needs. The role is available on a part-time or full-time basis, starting in September, with potential Personal Care involvement.

Requirements:

  • A relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g., NCFE, CACHE, or NVQ Level 1, 2, or 3) would be beneficial
  • Eligibility to work in the UK or UK residency
  • Previous experience working with children within the last two years
  • Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Previous EYFS, KS1, and KS2 experience
  • Two references from previous roles working with children
  • A current DBS registered with the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
