Cloud Support Engineer - 2nd Line

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Support Specialist to join our team. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support to a growing user base covering Microsoft O365, AWS and other internal systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage requests and provide timely support to users
  • Set up new and manage PAM (privilege access management) / IAM (identity access management) and user accounts
  • Install updates and patches, manage software systems and be proactive
  • Configure laptop builds and make recommendations for improvements
  • Diagnose and fix network problems
  • Manage data backups across our estate
  • Work with the global IT team to optimize support processes
  • Develop training materials for internal users
  • Create and maintain systems documentation across the estate

Essential Skills:

  • Great at supporting Microsoft Windows 11
  • Microsoft 365 administration – 2+ years' experience, including Entra ID, Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint administration
  • Laptop automation & configuration
  • Proven work experience as an IT Support Engineer
  • Good attention to detail and adherence to standard processes and procedures
  • Ability to think critically and diagnose software and hardware issues

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with Intune MDM
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with scripting languages such PowerShell
  • MacOS management
  • Experience with managing Meraki infrastructure
  • An interest in cyber security
  • Ability to use network diagnosis tools found in Windows/MacOS/Linux
  • CompTIA or Microsoft certifications
  • Familiarity with working in an ITIL environment
