**Job Title:** SEN Teaching Assistant for Year 1 Pupils
**Job Type:** Full time/Part time
**Location:** Cardiff
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil in year 1 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The successful candidate will begin working as soon as possible and will continue to the end of the academic year.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist the pupil in accessing the curriculum
- Assist the pupil in making progress academically, socially, and personally
- Get to know the pupil and learn how to support them further in the best way possible
- Assist the pupil in completing set learning activities
- Assist in planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities
**Requirements:**
- Experience working within an educational setting
- A good command of the English language
- Ability to implement and adapt learning activities
