About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Nurse to join our dynamic team at Gwendolen Ward. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients with complex mental health conditions and physical co-morbidities.

As a Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient care, implementing care plans, and working collaboratively with patients, families, and carers. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records, administer medications, and participate in the improvement of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based care to patients on the ward
  • Review and assess patient care, including the implementation of care plans
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate records and administer medications as per policy and procedure
  • Participate in the improvement of patient care and report incidents
