About the Role:

We are partnering with a pioneering organisation based in Poole, Dorset, to recruit a Director of Sustainability and Environmental Excellence. As part of their ambitious expansion plans, this forward-thinking business aims to double both their headcount and turnover while achieving Net Zero by 2035.

This pivotal role will report directly to the board of directors and play a key part in shaping and implementing the company's environmental strategy across all departments.

  • To develop and implement an overarching sustainability framework that minimises the business's impact on the environment through collaborative efforts with multiple teams.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive Environmental & Sustainability strategy within the supply chain and across the entire organisation.
  • Collaboration with internal departments is essential to integrate Environmental & Sustainability considerations into the decision-making process.
  • Regular progress reports will be generated, outlining key performance indicators and advancements towards sustainability goals.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in Environmental/Sustainability management with a genuine passion.
  • A deep understanding of Environmental and Sustainability frameworks, standards, and reporting requirements.
  • An analytical mindset capable of translating data into actionable insights.
