Equans UK seeks a skilled Data Centre Technical Specialist to support its growing Data Centre business. As part of our innovative team, you will manage the construction aspects of large projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, high quality standards, and adherence to health and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that work is carried out in full conformance with quality, environmental, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate and control the on-site construction process to ensure site build progress aligns with plans.
  • Liaise with statutory authorities and local authorities as directed by the site manager for building regulation submissions.
  • Attend site meetings, effectively communicate, and provide information for progress reports.
  • Chair and minute subcontractor meetings in the absence of the site or project manager.
  • Assist the site manager in managing materials.
  • Record keeping (diary, drawing register, H&S, COSHH assessments, as-built drawings, levels & foundations records, site H&S file).

Requirements:
  • Experience working with main contractors or large subcontractors.
  • Proven technical knowledge of electrical services.
  • Ability to problem-solve effectively.
  • A desire to continually develop knowledge further.
  • Self-motivation with proven organisational ability and drive to meet deadlines.
  • Customer-focused with effective communication skills.
  • Attention to health and safety matters.
  • Commercially astute.
