Data Centre Electrical Engineer Leader

LJB Recruit is currently seeking a highly skilled Data Centre Electrical Engineer Leader to oversee the electrical engineering function for our data centre project. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices, excellent leadership and management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

About the Role:

  • Manage the electrical engineering function for the project.
  • Provide weekly reports and updates to the project director and client.
  • Ensure technical compliance and complete, accurate handover information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and issue technical submittals in line with project specifications.
  • Review and issue RFIs.
  • Manage a team of electrical engineers and package managers.
  • Engage with the supply chain and vendors.
  • Communicate technical issues with the project management team as they arise.
  • Monitor and review engineering progress.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant degree.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in Hyper Scale data centres (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Management experience with the ability to lead a team.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 (Outlook, Excel (advanced), Word, PowerPoint, Share file, CMMS systems).

Salary Range: £75,000 - £95,000 per annum.
