Job Description

This role involves modifying control panels and telemetry equipment at various sites across the UK, including telemetry outstation replacements and multi-smart systems.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our engineers to deliver projects that drive business success and contribute to our QHSE goals.

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

  • Complete electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges' Electrical Safety Rules and Essential Standards
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure all Health and Safety legislation and regulations are adhered to
  • Collaborate with the team to install items to the highest standards, following project quality plans and inspection test plans
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of electrical systems and practices
  • Actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and take responsibility for stopping work if unsafe circumstances arise
  • Support the development of new skills and competencies among Electrical Improvers and Apprentices

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • ECS Gold Card (essential)
  • Telemetry outstation replacements or MultiSmart systems experience
  • Panel wiring/modifications experience
  • Industrial experience (ideally in the water industry)
  • Fitness to work medical
  • Strong commitment to Health and Safety and adherence to best practice
  • Full UK driving License
