Fire Service Liaison Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Service Liaison Officer to join our team at Capita. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our training delegates and ensuring their needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Support instructional staff in delivering excellent customer service to our training delegates.
- Act as the primary point of contact between The Fire Service College and clients, providing a seamless experience for all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the department to provide administrative support and assist with daily tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the FSC.
- Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety Policy and ensure that venue hire contractors adhere to safety protocols.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure that equipment and vehicles are used correctly on FSC grounds.
- Investigate and record any accidents or near misses, ensuring that they are properly documented in the safety management system.
- Work closely with other employees and contractors to ensure a safe working environment for all.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends, as required.
- Strong general IT literacy and proficiency in using various software applications.
- Experience in health and safety activities and practices, particularly in the fire and rescue sector, is highly desirable.
- Provision of consistently high standards of customer service and a strong focus on delivering exceptional results.
- Experience working in a dynamic and constantly evolving workplace environment.
- Valid driving license and ability to travel as required.
- Experience working in a training environment or within the Fire Service is highly beneficial.
- Ability to conduct and write risk assessments is a valuable asset.
