We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consents Manager to join our team at National Grid Strategic Infrastructure. As a key member of our Offshore Delivery Team, you will play a critical role in delivering marine and terrestrial consents for our fast-tracked multi-billion-pound projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary consents and EIA team to deliver marine and terrestrial consents, stakeholder engagement, and EIA-related activities.
- Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of consents and EIA-related activities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on consents and EIA-related matters to support project delivery.
- Mentor and develop less experienced team members to ensure continuous team growth and development.
- Proven experience in delivering terrestrial or marine consents and EIA-related activities for complex multi-site construction projects.
- Strong project management skills, including time, cost, scope, procurement, and resource management.
- Excellent communication and presentational skills, with experience in presenting complex information to large and challenging audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
We offer a competitive starting salary between £50,000 - £60,000, plus additional yearly supplements. You will also receive a bonus based on personal and company performance, as well as access to a range of flexible benefits, including a contributory pension scheme, share incentive plan, and salary sacrifice car and technology schemes.
