The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking highly motivated and organized individuals to fill the role of Clinical Administrator. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive support services to consultants, medical staff, and other clinical members.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior medical secretaries and other clinical administrators to perform duties such as data entry, making and receiving telephone calls, typing and proofreading documents, managing patient records and test results, coordinating outpatient clinics, and diary management.

This role provides direct secretarial and administrative support to consultants and/or specialist nurses, ensuring effective diary management and timely completion of clinical documentation. Processing referrals, scheduling appointments within national guidelines, and managing patient tracking lists are also essential responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will possess strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office software packages, and have experience in secretarial/administrative procedures, NHS Administration/Secretarial experience, and working knowledge of NHS Systems. Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to accurately input, collate, and present information are also essential.

We offer a competitive salary range of £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, along with opportunities for professional development and growth within the organization.
