About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Watch Cleaning Technician to join our Cleaning Department at Swatch Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity in our watch servicing and repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use ultrasonic machines, steam cleaners, and chemicals to clean watch components, ensuring they meet brand and quality standards.
  • Carefully handle, sort, and label all watch components post-cleaning to avoid loss or damage.
  • Safely operate and maintain machinery and equipment in line with health and safety guidelines.
  • Organize and manage your workload to meet departmental Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and team targets.
  • Work efficiently and accurately towards individual and team goals, communicating any issues or delays to your supervisor.
Requirements
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Strong manual dexterity and the ability to manage and prioritize tasks to meet targets and SLAs.
  • Good communication skills to effectively report issues and workflow delays.
  • The ability to quickly grasp new concepts and procedures, with a focus on understanding and following instructions.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team towards individual and group targets.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in handling diverse tasks and responding to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods and handle equipment and materials when necessary.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Technical cleaning experience in a technical or manufacturing environment.
  • Interest in horology/watchmaking with long-term ambitions to develop a career.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling chemicals and machinery.
