About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Casing Technician to join our team at Swatch Group. As a key member of our Casing Department, you will be responsible for disassembling and reassembling watch cases, testing for water resistance, and skillfully fixing bracelets on Swatch Group Traditional brand watches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out case disassembly, assembly, and water resistance testing, and bracelet interventions on SG brand watches, in accordance with specific brand guidelines and standards.
  • Organise and manage allocated work to ensure they are completed within the required department Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Maintain clear communication between yourself, your supervisor, and the technical administration team regarding any potential issues or delays in the workflow.
  • Be prepared to undertake brand-specific training and development opportunities to increase knowledge and experience.

  • Professionally conscious with an ability to maintain high-level working relationships.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and motivated to follow specific technical instructions and criteria.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with an effective approach to prioritising own workload.
  • A flexible and patient outlook to the requirements of a multi-brand working environment where switching between instructions is of utmost importance.
  • Experience of working towards set targets within a service-driven industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good level of dexterity.
  • An interest in horology/watchmaking with long-term ambitions to develop a career (desirable).
