About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Freedom of Information Officer to join our clients dynamic Customer Management Team.

This role involves handling complex customer enquiries, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and providing high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer enquiries through various channels, ensuring clarity and compliance in responses to information requests.
  • Coordinate responses with technical leads across the organisation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable legislation.
  • Analyse large volumes of complex data, presenting it in a customer-focused manner, adhering to relevant contracts and licenses.
  • Meet performance and standard targets, escalating any risks to the management team.
  • Support team members with complex casework, developing a specialist skill set and expertise.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
  • A working knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Freedom of Information Act and Environmental Information Regulations.
  • Experience in a multi-channel Customer Management Team, with proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively to enhance customer service.
