We are seeking an experienced High-Level Energy Commodities Consultant to join our team. This role involves providing industry and functional advice on the discovery workshop, design, implementation, testing, and production support of our energy commodity solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Industry Expertise: Utilize extensive knowledge of trading and risk concepts to guide clients in optimizing their energy commodity operations.
  • Solution Presentation: Effectively present product solutions to client users, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Deliverable Support: Collaborate with technical consultants to review, test, and validate scripted solutions, including reports, plugins, and interfaces.
  • Business Requirements Analysis: Consult with client users to identify business needs and work processes that can be addressed by our energy commodity solutions.
  • Product Configuration and Training: Demonstrate expertise in one or more areas of product configuration and provide training to business consultants in functional areas.
  • Project Implementation: Participate in project implementation duties across all phases, reporting to project managers.
  • Deliverable Documentation: Gather and document business requirements, configuration designs, test plans/results, and other deliverables as determined by project managers and lead business consultants.

Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting energy commodity installations in client environments.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, engineering, economics, or a related IT field, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of trading and risk concepts, implementation experience with invoicing and settlements, contracts and confirms, cash flow reporting, and interfacing with ERP for A/R and A/P. Proficiency in industry-specific tools and technologies.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $120,000 - $180,000, depending on location and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
