We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Deputy Service Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Service Manager and contributing to the overall success of our Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs.
About the Role- Support the Service Manager in managing the team and the service
- Plan rotas and manage staff teams to ensure the highest standards of care
- Ensure compliance with regulations and policies
- Encourage independence and support individuals to make their own choices
- Ensure the safety of service users and follow care plans
- Take service users out into the community and participate in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips
- Varying levels of personal care
- NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care and willingness to work towards Level 3
- Senior Support Worker experience
- Must be resilient and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Drivers essential due to the nature of the role
- Candidates must be happy to do personal care
- Competitive salary of £25,293 - £28,413
- Full-time permanent contract with 40 hours per week
- Monday-Friday with one weekend day shift every 4 weeks (Sat or Sun)
- Location: Colwyn Bay
