Nighttime Housing Support Position Available

">About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Supported Housing Officer to join our team in Thetford, Norfolk. As a Nighttime Housing Support professional, you will be responsible for providing a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents during night hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and guidance to residents, developing and maintaining a rapport with them.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facility overnight, adhering to safeguarding policies.
  • Manage the premises, ensuring the swift turnaround of accommodation for new arrivals.
  • Record and manage information accurately using our database systems.

This role requires previous experience in supported accommodation, aiding vulnerable individuals dealing with financial hardship, homelessness, mental health, and substance misuse. It would be desirable if you have a qualification in housing, social work, or community work and have experience in a security or caretaker role.

Please note: this position involves work that is a regulated activity and is therefore subject to receipt of a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure with a barred list check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Estimated annual salary: £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.
  • 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays, with extra leave for length of service, up to 5 additional days.
