We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ophthalmic Care Assistant to join our team at ACES. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of clinical eye care.
Key Responsibilities:- Pre-operative testing and consent appointment process management.
- Patient discharging and follow-up appointments coordination.
- Assisting surgeons during consent appointments and treatments.
- Participating in IOL theatre activities and associated tasks.
- Previous experience within optical or healthcare environment.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to absorb and convey technical information.
- Adaptable with a flexible approach to work.
- An estimated salary of £24,000 per annum.
- No night shifts or on-call requirements.
- A state-of-the-art, modern working environment.
- 29 days' annual leave per year.
