We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our NoW MSK Service, within Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care, working with a talented team to provide comprehensive MSK services to patients across Norfolk.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional Physiotherapist to take their career to the next level, working in a dynamic and innovative service that prioritizes patient-centered care. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding patient outcomes.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high standards of healthcare to patients with MSK conditions, providing specialist assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating packages of care. This will involve managing own caseload, which may include complex patients, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve seamless integrated services.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assess and prescribe care packages for patients with complex MSK conditions, achieving quality of life and independence where possible.
- Assessments and treatments will take the form of face-to-face or virtual consultations to enhance patient access to our services.
- To work with all healthcare professionals and statutory/non-statutory agencies to provide a seamless integrated service to our service users.
- Work when needed in a variety of locations, including lone working.
- Engage with System One Optimisation.
- Engage with referral to discharge standard processes.
- To be aware of the demand and capacity model reflecting workload needs at any given time.
Requirements:
- Evidence of having worked at a relevant level.
- Demonstrate tact and diplomacy.
- Work flexibly to accommodate patient/service needs.
- Ability to use own initiative.
- Good observational & reporting skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Demonstrate good IT and standard keyboard skills.
- Ability to communicate in English Language, both written and verbal forms.
- Highly motivated.
- Empathy & sensitivity.
- Concentrate when undertaking patient care & inputting data / patient records.
