Job Summary

This role will play a crucial part in the ongoing success of our peer worker offer within our Living Well teams, specifically for individuals with Complex Emotional Needs (CEN) who may attract a diagnosis of 'personality disorder'.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the provision of high-quality patient services that are clinically safe, evidence-based, and delivered cost-effectively.
  • Work with a caseload providing peer support to individuals with CEN, ensuring peer support is delivered in a person-centered manner.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver services within the Emotion Regulation Pathway Short-term Offer.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of training, a family and carer offer, and the development of services.
Key Requirements
  • Lived experience of mental health as a recipient of care.
  • Experience of a recovery approach.
  • Ability to demonstrate and share first-person experience of recovery from mental health challenges to support others.
  • Understanding of the needs and difficulties of people with mental health issues and those presenting with Complex Emotional Needs.
  • Positive and respectful attitude towards people with mental health issues.
