We are recruiting Teaching Assistants to join our specialist school in Ware, which caters for pupils with severe learning difficulties aged between 2 and 19 years.

The role involves attending to pupils' personal needs, including social health, hygiene, first aid, and welfare matters. You will also provide clerical/administrative support to the assigned teacher, such as photocopying, typing, filing, and record keeping.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Attend to pupils' personal needs
  • Provide administrative support to the assigned teacher
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of individual education plans
  • Monitor and evaluate pupils' progress and maintain pupil records
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and professional staff to promote the learning objectives of each pupil
