Learning Support Assistant for Special Needs Children

Daily Rate: £75-£90 per day SEN LSA Colchester. Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We are currently looking for a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a primary school in Colchester, Essex, to support Key Stage 2 children with ADHD. This full-time role involves working with students at individual workstations, providing them with focused, one-on-one support to help them succeed academically and emotionally.

Responsibilities for SEN LSA Colchester:
Provide 1:1 support for KS2 children with ADHD.
Collaborate with teachers and the SEN team to create a structured and positive learning environment.
Offer emotional and social support to help students feel confident and supported.
Previous experience working with children with ADHD or other SEN.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
A relevant qualification in SEN support or childcare (desirable but not essential) e.g. CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools, Autism Awareness, Makaton, etc
