Job Title: Inclusion and Diversity Specialist - Bioethics

Company Overview:

Wellcome is a global charitable foundation dedicated to improving health for everyone through science, policy, and partnerships.

The organization focuses on addressing three global health challenges: mental health, infectious disease, and climate change. This role plays a crucial part in advancing bioethics within Wellcome's research areas.

Estimated Salary:

£45,000 - £60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and implementation of bioethics projects across Wellcome's strategic research areas.
  2. Conduct research and analysis on emerging bioethics trends to inform Wellcome's strategic initiatives.
  3. Foster collaboration and networking among funded platforms, networks, and grantees.

Key Requirements:

  • A postgraduate degree in ethics, philosophy, health-related social sciences, or medical humanities is highly desired.
  • Substantial expertise in bioethics and related ethical and social issues.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering research projects using various methodologies.
  • Excellent programme and project management skills.
