Job DescriptionWe are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the position of Head of Diversity and Inclusion. This role will be instrumental in driving our strategy to promote diversity and inclusion within STEM fields.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of our diversity and inclusion strategy across all sections of the Society.
- Develop and manage programs aimed at increasing participation from underrepresented groups in STEM fields.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our initiatives align with our overall goals.
- Maintain accurate records of diversity data and develop strategies for improvement.
- Represent the Society's diversity and inclusion efforts externally, building partnerships with national academies, funders, and other organizations.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A graduate degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in delivering diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. The position also includes a range of benefits, including pension scheme, life assurance, and generous annual leave entitlement.
