About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an LBoC Support Officer with a focus on Diversity, Access and Inclusion. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the award-winning Arts & Culture Service to develop, deliver and monitor a range of ambitious, diverse and inclusive programmes as part of our London Borough of Culture year.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Programme and Partnership Manager to lead on diversity, access and inclusion initiatives. Your workload will be diverse and challenging, with a focus on arts projects ranging from programme commissioning and grants support to advocacy work and disability-led initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver inclusive arts programmes that promote diversity and accessibility.
  • Work with artists, community groups and Council departments to ensure that our London Borough of Culture year is diverse, accessible and inclusive.
  • Support the Programme and Partnership Manager in leading on diversity, access and inclusion initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address access needs and challenges.
  • Provide IT support and accessibility expertise to ensure that our programmes are accessible to all.
Requirements
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Understanding of access needs and challenges of disabled, d/Deaf and neurodivergent people.
  • Experience of supporting arts projects led by disabled and ethnically diverse artists and community groups.
  • IT literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Fundraising experience is a bonus.
