About the Role

Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Pension Operations Analyst to join its Customer Operations function. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for collaborating with various departments to ensure the successful delivery of funding to our Trustee clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the highest levels of customer care are provided to our Trustee clients.
  • Deliver funding to our Trustee clients in line with deal requirements.
  • Verify monthly payroll funding for schemes not administered by PIC's outsourced administrators and provide relevant feedback.
  • Onboard new business into PIC's operating model and create funding reconciliations.
  • Complete data verification checks, review and analyze complex data, understand and communicate data reports, and provide solutions.
  • Support the Trustees, their administrators, or in-house pensions teams throughout the data cleanse process, providing advice and support for data analysis and admin queries.
  • Provide training to junior members of the team and be a point of contact to support their personal development.
  • Undertake and manage ad-hoc projects as required, managing work streams and ensuring timescales are met.
  • Attend and host meetings and conference calls where required (internal and external).
  • Produce and deliver reports to PIC Senior Management.
  • Verify buy-in and buy-out outsourced administrators' payroll, resolve queries, and provide feedback.
  • Effectively collaborate with key stakeholders in the business, such as the Transitions, Origination, Investments, and Finance departments.
  • Take ownership of their own learning and development in both technical (e.g., data analysis and critical judgment) and non-technical (self-insight and relationship management) skills of Customer Operations.
  • Provide knowledge and insights concerning the Customer Operations function and how it impacts our policyholders.
Requirements
  • Experience in completing data reconciliation.
  • Experience of delivering excellent customer service when dealing with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in checking work and providing feedback.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong technical knowledge of defined benefit pension schemes.
  • Established knowledge of Pensions Administration, especially defined benefit pension schemes.
  • Established knowledge of data analysis, data reconciliation, defined benefit schemes, and pension buy-in and buy-outs.
  • Familiar with dealing with large volumes of data.
