About the Role

Pension Insurance Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Pension Operations Analyst to join its Customer Operations function. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for collaborating with various departments to drive improvements in systems, processes, and technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure exceptional customer care for Trustee clients.
  • Verify monthly payroll funding for schemes not administered by PIC's outsourced administrators and provide feedback.
  • Onboard new business into PIC's operating model and create funding reconciliations.
  • Perform data verification checks, analyze complex data, and provide solutions.
  • Support Trustees, administrators, or in-house pensions teams during data cleanse processes.
  • Provide training to junior team members and serve as a point of contact for their development.
  • Manage ad-hoc projects, overseeing work streams and ensuring timely completion.
  • Check buy-in & buy-out outsourced administrators' payroll and resolve queries.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Transitions, Origination, Investments, and Finance.
Requirements
  • Experience in completing data reconciliation.
Desirable Skills
  • Strong technical knowledge of defined benefit pension schemes.
  • Established knowledge of Pensions Administration, especially defined benefit pension schemes.
  • Established knowledge of data analysis, data reconciliation, defined benefit schemes, and pension buy-in & buy-outs.
  • Familiarity with dealing with large volumes of data.
  • Commercial judgment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with a desire to develop existing knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and consultative questioning to drive change.
  • Effective communication and engagement with internal stakeholders and professional bodies.
  • Innovative thinking and a positive attitude to change.
