About this Role:

This Programme Manager position will be instrumental in driving strategic initiatives, ensuring projects align with broader business goals, and enabling successful programme delivery.

  • Monitor programme budgets, resource allocation, and performance metrics to ensure efficient use of resources and identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Proactively identify, analyse, and manage programme risks and issues, developing contingency plans to mitigate impacts and maintaining clear documentation.
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of program outcomes, providing support and training to teams as needed.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex technical projects.
  • Previous experience in programme management within materials science, advanced manufacturing or technology would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, or similar).
  • Dynamic, solution-focused approach with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and organisational priorities.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is a plus.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with an outstanding benefits package, including 25 days holiday, cycle to work scheme, learning budget and social events.
