Kitchen Porter Assistant

Wells & Co is a beautiful family-friendly pub with quality accommodation, conveniently placed on the outskirts of St Neots in close proximity to the A1.
">We are now seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Kitchen Porter. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who wants to learn and improve their skills in a dynamic kitchen environment.
Your main duties will involve:
- Cleaning tasks, including ensuring basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible, collecting and washing up pots and pans, cleaning food preparation areas and equipment, crockery and cutlery, unloading food and equipment deliveries, keeping store rooms organised, work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.
- Food preparation, including preparing some salads or desserts.
- Other duties, including deep cleans and laundry of kitchen towels and aprons.
We are looking for someone who can work independently, has a desire to learn and improve, is proud of their work, and passionate about fresh food. If you have previous exposure to a kitchen environment, this role could be perfect for you.
