About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Porter to join our team at Longhurst Group. As a Night Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our customers, providing a supportive and non-judgmental environment for them to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and external agencies to promote general wellbeing and social interaction.
- Offer assistance to customers and colleagues, including telephone support, monitoring of CCTV, and occasional attendance at other services.
- Support customers in understanding and managing their tenancy, maximising their income, and using available facilities.
- Carry out and record hourly security checks of the building.
- Ensure the security surveillance equipment is working efficiently and report any faults.
