About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate Community Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Umbrella Functional Consulting & Support Team, you will play a critical role in creating a safe and engaging environment for individuals living with dementia.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating activities tailored to the needs of dementia patients
  • Providing essential companionship and emotional support
  • Working closely with volunteers and staff to ensure seamless service delivery

As a Community Support Specialist, you will receive comprehensive training and support to excel in your role. You will also have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with dementia while fostering a positive community atmosphere.

Key Requirements:

  • Compassion and empathy when working with vulnerable adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Estimated Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
