About the Role

As the Media Development Manager at the Thomson Reuters Foundation, you will collaborate with the Media Freedom team and other TRF teams to strengthen our media development programming. This involves managing several key workstreams: internal initiatives, including working closely with the Senior Media Initiatives Manager to establish, launch, and run a Quality Management System for our programs; and external initiatives focused on supporting media organizations worldwide.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the impact of media development projects.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and innovation in media development.
  • Oversee the implementation of programs, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, providing data-driven insights to inform future initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of funding proposals and reports to secure resources for media development activities.
