Job Description

As a Bulk Superconductor Researcher at the University of Cambridge, you will play a key role in enhancing the magnetic field generated by superconducting solenoidal magnets. Your research will focus on demonstrating the potential of bulk superconductors to shape and enhance magnetic fields for scientific and industrial applications.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in materials science or a related field, with expertise in the growth and characterization of superconducting properties. You will work closely with our team to develop suitable methods for shaping bulk superconductors and mapping their magnetic field profiles.

We offer a competitive salary of £26,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a fully-funded studentship covering fees and maintenance for eligible candidates.
