About the Role

We are looking for a talented Medical Team Manager to join our team at Real Chemistry. As a Scientific Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading the creation of outstanding medical content across various therapy areas and providing strategic insights to elevate client deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical writing, experience managing medical writers, and excellent communication skills. They should also have a profound understanding of healthcare, science, medicine, and the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Co-lead the development of high-quality medical content under senior direction across multiple therapy areas and initiatives.
  • Provide strategic input to aligned accounts and demonstrate confidence in questioning to probe and understand client briefs.
  • Act as day-to-day medical contact for clients and manage junior individuals and teams to work competently and efficiently.
  • Guarantee the accuracy and quality of assets and delegate work within accounts to ensure everyone is hitting billable targets.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of medical writing at an SMW level or above.
  • Experience managing medical writers and interacting regularly with clients.
  • A profound understanding of healthcare, science, medicine, and the pharmaceutical industry.
  • A high level of academic achievement is expected.
