Marketing and Business Development Professional

The Marketing & Business Development Manager will drive business development, enhance the firm's profile, strengthen client relationships, and identify opportunities through strategic marketing.
Main Duties:
- Develop and execute brand positioning strategies, including managing sponsorships, client presentations, seminars, and webinars.
- Create tailored pitches and proposals for new business opportunities, track client feedback, and refine approaches to improve success rates.
- Conduct market research and client analysis to identify trends, new business opportunities, and cross-selling synergies.
- Coordinate with Client Intelligence to support cross-selling efforts with targeted research, relationship reports, and plans.
- Update business development systems with attorney experience and client information, including CRM and other relevant databases.
- Draft and edit marketing materials, such as practice area descriptions and attorney bios, and manage updates to the firm's website and intranet.
- Oversee submissions for awards and legal directories, maintain records of accolades, and pursue PR opportunities in collaboration with communications teams.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Prior marketing & business development experience with proven project leadership, preferably in a law firm or professional services setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong organisational, time management, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; quick to learn new database systems.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across a large organisation.
- Demonstrates sound judgement, professionalism, and poise in all interactions.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
