Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Lawson Memorial Hospital in Golspie. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver personalized support.
Responsibilities: Your primary responsibilities will include providing prescribed care, engaging patients in meaningful activities, and supporting registered nurses in their tasks. You will also contribute to daily and weekly meetings, discussing patient journeys and assisting allied healthcare professionals in delivering therapy.
Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need to complete our Healthcare Support Worker Induction program and be assigned an experienced mentor. Opportunities for skill development will be provided through annual appraisals and a personal development plan. Estimated salary: £26,869 - £28,998 per annum (pro-rata).
