Job Overview
Cambusavie Unit at Lawson Memorial Hospital, Golspie requires a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to provide care to patients requiring acute treatment under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will work under the guidance of a registered nurse to deliver high-quality patient care, including personal care, nutrition, hydration, and engaging patients in meaningful activities. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive care to patients, participating in daily and weekly meetings to discuss patient journeys, and collaborating with AHP teams to deliver therapy.

About the Role
This permanent part-time position involves working 30.13 hours across a 7-day rota with rotational shifts (days and nights). Successful candidates will complete a Healthcare Support Worker Induction program, receive an experienced buddy, and have access to organizational and role-specific learning opportunities, including mandatory training.

Salary and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this role is £21,412 - £24,157 based on a 37-hour full-time schedule. As NHS Scotland reduces its full-time working week, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period.
