About the Role

This Administrative Services Coordinator position is a highly motivated and enthusiastic clerical officer role providing reception and administrative support to a busy Sexual Health, Contraception and HIV department.

The successful candidate will have a good standard of general education, previous experience of dealing with patients or customers, and a good level of computer literacy.

Main Duties

  • Greet all visitors attending the reception area, ascertain their requirements and respond accordingly.
  • Clarify demographics for every patient contact face-to-face and via telephone, ensuring systems are updated regularly.
  • Enter clinic attendances and outcomes onto INFORM within identified timescales and standards.
  • Maintain the reception and waiting area to an orderly state at all times.
  • Answer telephone calls courteously and politely, direct enquiries appropriately and take messages as necessary.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of general office procedures.
  • Educational Qualifications: Good general standard, including Maths & English.
  • Experience in Administration/Computers/Database/Customer Service.
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Hospital experience.

Salary and Benefits
