**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team at Leonard Cheshire, a leading provider of care and support services. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and beverage services to our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist the Cook in the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring that all food is presented in a clean and appetizing manner.
  • Support the delivery of food and beverage services, including menu planning and preparation.
  • Ensure that exceptional levels of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
  • Support our customers at mealtimes, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring that their needs are met.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of special events and celebrations throughout the year.

**Requirements**

  • Previous experience in a catering or food service role, preferably in a care or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to maintain high standards in this area.
