About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Catering Assistant to join our team at Bradbury House, a care home rated 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Cook in the preparation and delivery of healthy, nutritionally balanced meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents.
  • Support our residents at mealtimes, ensuring exceptional levels of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained.
  • Participate in the planning and preparation of special events and celebrations throughout the year.
  • Work collaboratively with the Cook and other members of the care team to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in food preparation and a strong understanding of safe food handling procedures.
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to work towards.
  • Flexibility to work in accordance with rostered hours.
