Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Sodexo. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen in the absence of senior colleagues and providing support to the production team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the kitchen team and ensure the smooth operation of food production.
- Direct the preparation and duties of commis chefs, chef de parties, and other kitchen staff.
- Assist in ordering, preparation, stock control, and running service.
- Ensure strict adherence to all EHO guidelines and systems.
- Improve and maximize the use of existing stocks where necessary.
- Work with the FOH team to drive service excellence.
- Train, guide, and develop the kitchen team.
- Monitor sanitation practices and ensure employees follow standards and regulations.
- Prepare, produce, and present food to the highest standard.
- NVQ level 2/3 or experience working in a busy kitchen environment.
- Basic IT skills, with Microsoft packages experience.
- Experience in menu planning and production.
- Exposure to bulk cooking.
